INTERNATIONAL SCANDAL

The world has expressed shock and outrage over the gross miscarriage of justice done to Samuel and Benjamin.

From Chile to Australia, England to America, Hungary to Vienna, Gibraltar to Israel and beyond, thousands of people have signed the petition. The hundreds of incensed comments below show that Sammy and Benjamin’s plight has become an international scandal and yet our innocent boys continue to suffer.

Why is it that injustice could be carried out so swiftly and easily yet overturning such a scandalous ruling and restoring justice has proven such a torturous lengthy process?

We implore the British and Austrian governments to take immediate action for the sake of our 2 suffering little boys. How many more demonstrations, letters, cries for help, horrific pictures and videos do you need to see and hear before you wake up to these horrors and intervene?

This is no longer just a personal plea nor is it restricted to any one particular social group. Mothers, fathers, men, women, friends, strangers all over the globe have added their voices, appealing for sanity and all begging to see Samuel and Benjamin’s suffering brought to an end once and for all.

Please sign this PETITION and urge others to sign.

Thank you for your support.

This case severely undermines the Austrian justice system. It is not impartial, not fair, not just, and does not protect its citizens.

  • Jayne Donegan LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

There must be an extraordinary reason to remove children from their mother’s care and refuse visiting rights – what crime has the mother committed that makes her so dangerous?

I AM A MOTHER

the welfare of the childen is uppermost in my mind. It appears that these children are not receiving the best care possible

A new hearing seems only fair

I have twins of my own and can only imagine the suffering the poor suffering those two boys must be going through and the mother too.

As a psychologist who worked with children for over 30 years I cannot understand why this situation has been allowed to continue. An urgent re-examination of the case is required.

this is not what any mother deserves, every cild needs their mother!!

  • Susi Doring TULSA, UNITED STATES MINOR OUTLYING ISLANDS

Ms Alexander deserves a fair hearing on this case.

this is a huge miscarriage of justice!

Children were taken away from their mother for fictitious reasons invented by the father for what ever reason. Investigation into the judge already going on, father in trouble for lying about the mother… No logic or reason. The mother should get sole custody as the father clearly doesn’t have the boys beset interests at heart

These children need their mother’s tender loving care immediately.

This is such a sad story!!

Shocking. I have been following Beth’s story and it’s absolutely shocking. It is clear that her children are not thriving under the care of their father – still in nappies at age 4, teeth falling out and not talking. They need their mother.

It’s a terrible injustice for mother and children!!

So unacceptable to cause such emotional trauma to young children

This is utterly heartbreaking for a child to lose their mother who were obviously looked after and treated amazingly to only be taken away to be treated disgustingly by their father who is clearly the one incapable of caring for them .

My son was abducted many years ago and held illegally in Italy for three years until I got him back. I had to take matters into my own hands. It is heartbreaking to have a mother alienated from her children and the children alienated from their mother. This story is immoral and against the law!

Because it is a breach of those childrens human rights.

I’m a mother. This fills me with horror and sadness.

Needs to be a FAIR trial and re-trial dates/appeals need to be expedited. Removing 4teeth with no medical proof and the courts don’t stop it? Why? I cannot find anything online to try to explain why this is happening. This is an EU country and its 2013. Austria needs to explain

  • E Leek BEDFORD, UNITED KINGDOM

I know what a kind person Beth is to her core and I’m outraged at the injustice that has been inflicted on her children. As a doctor who’s looked after many children, my heart goes out to Beth and her twins.

It is vital that, if a relationship breaks down, children’s welfare is paramount. This is a cruel and unusual decision which does NOT appear to be in the best interests of the children. I worked in Child Protection for many years and I am horrified by this miscarriage of justice – even if Beth had been proven to have some kind of mental health issue (which I stress has not been the case) the appropriate action would be to ensure that the children have a positive relationship with both parents as long as they are able to offer them love and support in safety. What a tragic situation, I hope that the case is re-examined and that the children are reunited with their mother. I also hope that their father finds a way forward to leave behind whatever has caused him to initiate such a hostile set-up and negotiate a more constructive future for himself with his children.

As a female, a sister, possible future mother, I disagree with the way they treated this woman and her children. I would like a fair approval from the government quickly and swiftly

Justice! clearly a mistake was made, whether by mistake or on purpose. now is the time to fix that mistake, before the lives of two little boys are ruined beyond repair!

  • Anna H MEVASSERET ZION, ISRAEL

As a mother to small children, my heart breaks into a thousand pieces reading this story. No one should have to go through this.

  • Anna H MEVASSERET ZION, ISRAEL

I am a mother to small children, I live in my husband’s country. Beth Alexander deserves to be treated on equal par with her ex husband and to be re-united with her small boys who clearly need her love and care.

I’ve read as much as I can and I haven’t seen anything to support the husband’s claims.

Because the law is damaging children that were not in danger – any professional involved in this decision and the ongoing carrying out of it should be brought to trial, including the father.

It’s a disgrace that a mother should be so entirely separated from her children with no rhyme or reason.

The facts and evidence don’t add up. As a midwife we fight to keep mothers and children together. These poor children need their mother. I really hope we can help.

Seeing the before and after photos of these two boys, and the difference in their body language is harrowing, and Heart breaking. This should not be aloud to continue, nor as the heath professionals have seen these 2 boys over the last 16 months should have noticed a change intheir developement, and steps should have been taken within the law of the country.

This is an extremely tragic and sad case, for which I desperately hope resolution can be found sooner rather than later.

As a mum of 2 precious boys myself, this story is completely heartbreaking. We fully support Beth and her boys

I will not stand by without in some small way trying to help right a wrong!!
I myself am a mother and Grandmother as well as a Psychiatric Counsellor and know that every child needs their mother!!
From the information that is written here, this mother genuinely loves and cares about her children and only wants the very best for them! She cared for them when they were in her care. Many children of aged 2 do not have 200 words in their vocabulary, they develop a wider vocabulary later on especially twins who converse between themselves in their own way.
The longer these children are deprived of their mother, the greater the long term psychological damage! There obviously has been a grave serious miscarriage of justice which needs rectifying immediately!!!

I’m a mother of twins and other children. I can’t bear to see injustice. Children deserve their mother’s love especially if the mother has so much to give. It’s barbaric to withold this basic human right from the children and from their mother.
This situation MUST be rectified NOW.

This appalling miscarriage of justice must be challenged

Children need their mother.

There has been a terrible injustice done to Beth and the children. It is a disgrace on the Austrian government that they have not acted to correct this.

I have known Beth all her life and am appalled at how badly she has been treated. She and her parents have their lives on hold until this matter is resolved in her favour, which would also be the right decision for Ben and Sam.

There seems to be no logical reason to prevent this mother being with her children, and to needlessly disrupt this important relationship is cruel and incomprehensible. There is no way this decision seems to have been taken with the children’s best interests at heart.

Children should be with their main caretaker, in this case the mother who was deemed capable in court. This needs to be take to the high courts ASAP, too much damage has already been done to these 2 innocent boys.

This is ludicrous – return these boys to their loving mother.

Providing she is no danger to them in anyway, then children should always be in close contact with their mother.

Two little children are being abused and tormented physically and psychologically and emotionally. After hearing some background information in addition to what is written on this website, it seems obvious that these two beautiful boys need to be with their mother. I pray to Hashem that they are reunited fully with their most loving and suitable parent.

there should be one reason in the world only! for a parent not being aloud to have custody on the children, and that is, if they can cause any danger like: starving hitting or god forbidden killing!

I feel empathy since I have my own kids kidnapped 40y ago by Chabad montreal (with help of Satmar) , went throught hell so, I feel a lot of empathy for the kids and mom.

Not to even grant visiting rights is an absolute disgrace!

Pure human rights, especially of the child, human right of being unharmed, being loved, nurtured and enjoying an education and being raised as future responsible, socially responsive human beings.

Every child needs their mothers love to survive

She deserves to have her children with her and bring them up in a safe environment. THERE MUST BE JUSTICE!

Every child deserves the chance to have fair access to both parents. This mother and her children have been treated in an appalling way and deserve justice. It is a shameful way to treat a family.

Because I cannot believe that children can be removed almost on a whim it seems, where is the justice in that? I am seriously concerned for the boys.

I hope and pray that these young boys are soon reunited with their mother

I am a mother too!

I think Beth has been deliberately misrepresented by her husband and others to ensure she does not have custody of her children. This is unacceptable and unjust .

There is no harm in re-examining the case before a different judge. If there is any truth to the father’s claim, his case can be reinforced. However, if there is truth that the mother is a capable parent, then a tremendous injustice has certainly been done, not only to the children and to their family but to a part of the world that perceives a just and fair society.

it important these children get the proper access and support from their mother.

These boys NEED to be with their loving Mother, I’m appalled with the Austrian ‘justice’ system-and will certainly never visit a country with such little respect for human rights and the care of children, and will urge everyone I know to do the same

This story has hit hard for me for personal reasons sending you prayers that you get your boys back

Because it seems that the justice system has got this case wrong, and two innocent children are suffering as a result. Not to mention Beth’s family and friends.
Good luck

Robert Block MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM
Child safeguarding.

Even if the children are greatly adored by the father and the extended family, is it not utterly wrong that their MOTHER should be denied any explanations about why/when they are ill or having medical procedures. Even if they remain in their fathers custody, the mother should be able to know more about their lives Why is this important to you? (Optional)

Beth is a family friend, this cannot continue

Taking children away from their mother is a crime.

I am a mother of 2 children and it upsets me seeing how these boys are not being looked after. Every child needs their mother x

Beth has been the subject of unjust abuse by her ex husband and judicial system. Her boys belong with their mother

A judge who cannot grasp this (extenuating circumstances and all) should look to the single greatest judgement of King Solomon regarding the case of two mothers, and, if he or she cannot grasp Solomon’s wisdom, should consider resigning from her/his position as judge.

this is not right. the father is a doctor and this is how he treats his own children? One child has no fron tteeth. Both children look bedraggled and their hair is in disarray. The pictures speak fro them sleves. They are not potty trained. Hardly speak? Obviously the nannies cant be bothered to feed the nutriotious food and brush their teeth because the father could not care less. Its a shame that this case cannot be tried in the UK. The judge should be ashamed of herself to grant custody to such a monster. Why does a doctor want full time custody when he works all day and dumps the kids in childcare. Why? because its his way at getting back at the mother for the breakdown of the marriage. He uses his own children as revenge. He is the abuser. He is the one who is mentally unstable. Not the mother. The photos don’t lie. This young woman has suffered anough and should be granted sole custody of her children. I too am a trained psychologist and it is plain to see that the kids look happy and settled whilst in their mothers care but very disturbed while in the care or lack of care with their father. This cannot go on. What will it take for the Austrian courts to see the light and bring justice for this poor woman?

A mother deserves the right to be with her children or at least share custody.

  • Susie Nathan LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

Because these children are obviously suffering being apart from their mother!

  • Sandra Vincent CHIGWELL, UNITED KINGDOM

What did this mother do that was so bad that her children should be taken away from her. In the UK this would be very rare. This whole case seems very biased against her and needs totally reconsidering by impartial judges?

  • Eli Davis AUSTRALIA

Because this is a BASIC human rights issue

  • Julia Weir LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

The boys must surely be suffering significant psychological damage by being separated from their mother in this manner who appears to be loving and competent. I am also concerned about the quality of care they are receiving from their father and that this is severely negatively affecting their well-being.

  • Sarah Greenfield LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

  • Analee Israel ANTONY, FRANCE

I have a child of my own and cannot imagine the terror and nightmares this mother and her children are going through.

  • oshy ellman LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

A mother should have access to her children and this mothers voice is not being heard. Re open the trial and hear what the mother has to say!

  • natasha law LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

Why is this important to you? (Optional)This is an extremely sad situation that no parent should ever have to go through and without any explanation.

A child should always be with their mother the lady who birthed them and loves them that can encourage them to thrive and learn and be healthy, which was something she was able to do before so now that everyone can see the harm that the father who is meant to protect them and keep them out of harm’s way he is failing this surely someone needs to see some sense that these boys are also being failed. This man is not only destroying his children’s lives but their mothers too. Its selfish and sad and I hope and pray that they are one day physically healthy and can mend their broken hearts!

A MOTHERS LOVE IS NEVER FORGOTTEN AND CAN NEVER BE TAKEN AWAY!

Children need all the love they can get. Those twin boys do not deserve to be treated that way. Appalling. Shocking. They are already scarred for life, they do not need this to carry on if it can be prevented.

  • M Journo MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM

It is clear from press coverage and official documents that the conduct of the court on this case has been grossly one sided, in favour of the less-abled parent.

  • Rachael Faber SALFORD, UNITED KINGDOM

Very concerned for children’s welfare .

  • Anastasia Fraser ZUG, SWITZERLAND

Everyone is entitled to an objective court hearing when both parties are heard equally. I am British and will support Beth all the way

  • Shirah A RA’ANANA, ISRAEL

I am appalled at what I have read here. Firstly, it is glaringly clear that this mother adhered much more stringently to the court’s regulations on a custodial parent, and was beyond responsible with her boys. But secondly, and more importantly, the fact that these kids are having teeth yanked out and one child has been sick with G-d knows what indefinitely, and the fact that the children are listless and lethargic when she first sees them and when they know they have to go back again… This is TEXTBOOK, and NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Not only should these children be removed from their father’s custody and replaced with their mother, but the father should be denied any and all parental rights, including visitation, and short of writing a check for child support each month should no longer be permitted any further interaction with these boys. It looks to me that enough damage has been caused. And I truly, truly hope that when Ms Alexander does have her children returned to her, she goes after CPS in England for every single dime she can squeeze out of them, and that any and all individuals involved in this case are promptly terminated from their positions. The government should be fully ashamed that they have allowed this situation to continue; are there ANY home visits going on by CPS, is ANYONE monitoring the situation even in the slightest? This is just appalling!

  • Janet Toledano LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

Because Beth Alexander deserves as much a fair hearing as her husband and for her to be deprived of visiting rights is a travesty of justice.

  • Jennifer Charny MAZKERET BATYA, ISRAEL

Good luck… Your children deserve to have you in their lives…

  • Anna Jacobs LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

It is a terrible injustice, the children need regular contact with their mother before the damage will become irreversible.

  • Tania Arden BOREHAMWOOD, UNITED KINGDOM

It seems astonishing that significant queries into fairness and objectivity of those involved in the custody decisions have so far been completely ignored. This is despite the (admitted) personal connection between the judge and the father, hugely conflicting psychological reports as to the mother’s mental state, and the father’s refusal to supply required medical notes and information, despite the deteriorating physical and mental health of his children. Further delay of a review seems tantamount to child abuse.

  • Sandi Mann MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM

I have researched this case as much as I could for a column I write for the Jewish Telegraph, and I can’t understand why the courts have removed the kids from their mum (who I don’t know). There is no allegation that she has harmed them and no evidence that she is a danger to them. I have not seen one convincing argument to take this drastic step and thus believe the case desperately needs looking at again by an independent team.
